Mindful Movement Lab
Come delve into the process of bringing our moving selves into wholeness, resilience and integrity. We will learn and experiment with concepts from traditional and contemporary dance forms, Laban Movement Analysis and The Feldenkrais Method, as we jointly fashion a varied weekly movement practice that tickles our neurons, fortifies our inner connectivity and raises our expressive aliveness!
All levels are welcome, 18 years and older

About the Facilitator:
Suzie Lundgren, MA, CFT, CLMA, CET certified in Pilates (1983), The Feldenkrais Method (1997), Laban Movement Analysis (2008) and Evans Technique following a 25+ year career in dance. Her perspective on moving and learning to move also draws on studies of manual therapy techniques, Ballet, Tap, Yoga and Tai Chi. A graduate of Texas Christian University (BFA) and University of Houston, CLC (MA), Suzie brings a wealth of academic, practical and field experience to her teaching style. Her performing credits include: Space/Dance/ Theater, and the Houston Ballet (Houston), Suzie Ater/ Scott Clark Dance Company (UK, Netherlands, Austria, Italy) among others. She was invited to join the Bill Evans Summer Dance Institute faculty in the early 1980’s and continues to be a core member of the BETI faculty to date. A resident of Santa Cruz since 1997, Suzie is in private practice (Feldenkrais Somatic Education) and heads up The Santa Cruz Feldenkrais Collective, a team of colleagues who collaborate in offering Awareness Through Movement classes to the Santa Cruz Community.
